Jenn Drummond has a story so crazy you might think it’s a fictional superhero backstory.
- 8-Figure business owner
- She almost died in a crazy car crash
- Struggled with infertility… but today is a mom of 7 kids
- Set the world record for being the 1st (and only) woman to ever climb the second-highest peaks on each continent (harder than summiting the highest peaks…)
If it wasn’t clear already, Jenn is another person that is the definition of being Beyond Curious — someone who reinvented themselves in MULTIPLE ways.
This is an EPIC conversation… and Jenn is the first world-record holder that has been on the podcast!
I had so much fun reading her new book, BreakProof, in preparation for this conversation… not only to hear about her crazy journey setting an insane world record, but learning about the process of achieving massive goals.
P.S. Here’s a quote from Jenn’s book that REALLY stuck with me:
“Our initial paths or methods might not always be the most fruitful or aligned with our long-term goals. As such, the capacity to reassess, recalibrate and, if necessary, redirect one’s efforts is seen as a valuable asset. Instead of obstinately adhering to a task, goal, or plan, a Breakproof approach values the ability to recognize when circumstances or objectives have changed.
Recognize when to change strategies. To be Breakproof is to maintain a constant openness to new possibilities ensuring that every step taken, whether it be advancing in a current career (a forward move), transitioning to a new field (a lateral move), or even taking a step back to learn and reassess (a backward move), is a purposeful decision aimed at fostering growth in both professional and personal dimensions such as acquiring new skills, improving mental well-being, or deepening relationships.”
Her flexible perspective on achieving BIG goals (and her definition of quitting) are HUGE takeaways for me. Would highly recommend grabbing BreakProof!
